Bishop Soenneker is a fully accredited institution and all of its teachers are fully
certified by the State of Kentucky. A full, traditional curriculum is offered to all
students from Kindergarten to sixth grade. They study Language Arts, Science, Social
Studies, Math, music and art.The students also have access to a network with IBM and
Digital workstations. All students are required to have religious instruction daily. One
day per month the entire student body celebrates the liturgy together. The parish priest
visits the classsrooms one day each week. Students are challenged to be aware of others
and their needs. They show this with collections of food and personal items, food baskets,
family adoptions at Christmas and visits to nursing homes. Students from 1-6 grades are
required to wear the basic blue and white uniforms. Kindergarteners are not required to
wear the uniforms. The breakfast is available from 7:00-7:30 and the cost is $.80 and hot
lunches are $1.30.
