GRADES: K-6 HISTORY OF SCHOOL: Holy Angels was created with the 1988 mini-consolidation of St. Mary Magdalene, St. Alphonsus/St. Elizabeth Schools. In 1989, the school added St. Augustine, St. Martin and St. Peter Parish students to become the present Holy Angels School. 162 students attended in 1989 and enrollments have continued to grow each year since. NUMBER OF STUDENTS IN SCHOOL: 195 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Because the school building, located next to St. Mary Magdalene Church, is quite small, there are four classrooms, library, Art/Music room, and Extended Care Room housed in trailers. Very often, because our space is limited, some children have had to be refused entrance to Holy Angels School. The Long Range Planning committee has been working to rectify this situation. Growth in the western part of Daviess County has made it necessary to study ways to accommodate those wishing to attend this school.
