Parish History
| St. Paul is the oldest parish in the Owensboro Diocese. In 1910 Fr. Charles Nerinex formed the first congregation of Catholics and the first church was built in 1811 at our present cemetery site. From 1810 to the present we have had four church buildings, two of which were struck by lightning and destroyed. |
