Campus Grandparents Mass & Reception will be held on Thursday, May 1
beginning at 9 am. All grandparents are invited to this special mass and

THE
OWENSBORO CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL:
The Owensboro Catholic High
School band will sponsor a Spaghetti Supper & Bunco at the OCHS cafeteria
on Saturday, May 3rd. Supper will be served from 4:00 – 6:00
pm, $5 for all you can eat. Bunco follows at 6:30 in the small gym; $15
for single and $25 for couple. Cash prizes will be given. Must be at least 16 years of age to play. For

HOME MISSIONS APPEAL will be this weekend, April 26 & 27.
Health Bytes from the Parish Nurses…
Are you protecting your children from the sun? Think sunscreen is the answer? Not really! Sunscreen can
cut down your UV exposure if you must be out in the sun, but it is far more
effective to teach your children to avoid being in the sun during the 10 AM to
4 PM hours, and to avoid getting sunburned. Remember, a
sunburn in childhood is one of the strongest risk factors for getting
skin cancer as an adult!

FOR GARRETT ELDER
There will be a benefit
blood drive for Garrett Elder Monday night May 5, 2008 from 4:00 - 8:00 at the Sorgho fire dept. on Hwy 56. For each unit of blood that is donated $10.00
will go to Garrett. The family would
like to thank you for all your prayers and support through this difficult time.
Please continue to pray for
them.
There will also be a
fundraiser for Garrett Elder on Sunday, May 4th at Pizzaroma.

Preparation Program for couples preparing for marriage after one or both
persons have experienced a divorce or death of a former spouse. This will be
