Sacraments
| BAPTISM: The celebration
of infant Baptism takes place on Sundays during Mass or
following Mass. Parents, please contact the pastor to set
up a meeting to prepare for the sacrament and to set the
date. Baptism for children (ages 7 and up) and adults
occur at the Easter Vigil. CONFIRMATION: At present this sacrament is celebrated in the seventh and eighth grade or at the Easter Vigil. The Bishop normally comes every two years and we alternate between the two parishes. EUCHARIST: We normally celebrate First Eucharist on the first Sunday of May each year with children in the second grade. RECONCILIATION: This Sacrament is available on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. where the evening Mass is held and at ay other time upon request or by appointment. Communal services during Advent and Lent. First Reconciliation is celebrated in Advent. ANOINTING OF THE SICK: Celebrated once or twice a year at the weekend Masses. Anyone who is ill or infirmed may request the anointing by calling the parish offce. MARRIAGE: Contact the pastor at least six months before setting a date for marriage. Couples must attend Engaged Encounter or the Sponsor Couple Program. HOLY ORDERS: Contact the pastor for more information. |
