Weekly sessions are held from September through May at Immaculate Conception. BIBLE SCHOOL: Each year the parishes provide two weeks of religious instructions during the summer vacation. These weeks are open to children of all faiths from ages 3-13. RENEW 2000: The Church of the entire world has been urged by the Holy Father to enter into a renewed or "new" evangelization and to prepare in a focused manner for the celebration of JUBILEE 2000 as we enter the third millennium of Christianity. RENEW 2000 is the specific manner in which Bishop McRaith, with the recommendation of the Diocesan Pastoral Council, has chosen for the Diocese of Owensboro to respond to the Holy Father's request. This year will be a year of preparation and training for the parish core committee. ADULT SMALL GROUPS will begin meeting in the Fall of 1998 for 5 seasons. |
